Hyaluronic Acid Dermafiller such as Juvederm ( by Allergan, the makers of Botox) can be used to achieve immediately visible results in smoothing out deep facial creases and for enhancing lip fullness. Juvederm is part of the "Liquid Lift" system, used together with Botox, can provide a more youthful appearance by filling in the nasal labial folds (marionnette lines) and for rejuvenating lips. Juvederm is FDA approved for lasting up to 12 months and is a safe, hypoallergenic dermafiller, that will dissipate with time and won't cause permanent changes. The procedure will require local anesthesia and takes about 15 to 30 minutes to perform. Side effect is minimal, may include mild local swelling or bruising, but generally very little side effect is expected.
